Self-Worth

In this week’s Contemplative Living Podcast, I look at how self-worth is part of our daily lives. Our self-worth results from our ability to choose between right and wrong, truth and delusion. Our beliefs live not only in our minds but also in a cluster of feelings and emotions embedded in our bodies. We tend to focus on information that matches or reinforces our existing beliefs. Be at ease with yourself and feel worthy of respect. Dignity is an intrinsic quality, a part of our human nature—inherent worth. Self-worth cannot be taken away or destroyed by the actions of others.

Dignity Is Part Of Our Human Nature

Dignity is an important part of our human nature. It refers to the quality or state of being worthy of esteem or respect. When we have dignity, we feel confident and proud. We believe that we are deserving of love, care, and attention. Dignity is something that we all possess, but it can be easily damaged. When our dignity is harmed, we can feel ashamed, humiliated, and worthless. However, it is important to remember that our dignity can never be taken away from us. We always have the power to choose how we respond to difficult situations. No one can control how we feel about ourselves – that is up to us.

You are magnificent. You are wonderful!

No matter what anyone tells you, always remember that you are magnificent and wonderful. You are capable of anything you set your mind to. Never let anyone tell you that you’re not good enough or that you can’t do something. You are strong and powerful. You are amazing!
