Devotion

In this week’s Contemplative Living Podcast, we are discussing Devotion. Devotion is an opening of your heart to the possibilities you seek—the possibilities of peace, freedom, and awakening. Outer devotion helps in illuminating the experience of our minds. Inner devotion trusts in what is awakening within. When you experience awe intensely, conceptual thinking simply stops. Mystical devotion is the direct experience of the mystery of knowing. Weave Unconditional Love into your Devotions.

Inner and Mystical Devotion

A person who is devoted to something has a strong inner commitment to it. This can be a commitment to a cause, an ideal, or a way of life. When we are devoted to something, we are willing to give our time, energy, and resources to it. We may make sacrifices for it. Our fidelity can be tested when things get tough. If we stick with it, it shows that our inner commitment is strong.

Mystical devotion is a very powerful force. It is the belief that there is something greater than ourselves that we can tap into. This belief can lead to amazing things happening in our lives. When we are in touch with this force, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. We can also feel a deep sense of peace and connection with the world around us.
