Less Is More

This week’s Contemplative Living Podcast, we talk about how “Less Is More.” It seems like a contradiction, yet it adds appreciation and merit. The fewer things you focus on at any moment, the more you’ll see. We don’t know when imagination, creativity, innovation, and breakthroughs will happen. Compose intentions that simplify life and find it leads to happiness. Through our intentions, we shape the world we experience. Being fully present gives us more details so we can be skillful in how we act. We’re training the mind to be attentive, continually attentive.

Practice “Less Is More.”

It seems like everywhere we turn, there’s a new gadget or device that’s supposed to make our lives easier. But sometimes, less is more. Having too many choices can actually be overwhelming, and it can lead to us feeling scattered and stressed. That’s why it can be helpful to simplify our lives every now and then. When we do, it gives our minds a chance to rest and reset. And when our minds are calm and focused, we’re better able to be attentive and present in the moment.

This means that we’re teaching ourselves to focus on what’s important, and to let go of distractions. By simplifying our lives, we can learn to pay attention to the things that truly matter. This can help us be happier and more productive.
