Reverence

In this week’s Contemplative Living Podcast, we talk about how Reverence is the process of deep respect for awakening and being alive. Life is amazing, and every living being is our sibling. When we fail to look, we miss the extraordinary beauty here on Earth, in people, places, creatures, and plants. A spirit of reverence is essential to spiritual practice. Give rise to higher levels of intuitive understanding; augment your realization of unity. Strengthen your reverence to leap into reality so vast that the entire universe is found to be no other than your true self. Cultivate your creative fire by bringing your open and warm attention to reverence.

Getting More From Life

We all want to get the most out of life, but sometimes it can feel like we’re just going through the motions. One way to get more from life is to approach it with reverence. When we live reverently, we are more present and mindful in each moment. We savor the good times and learn from the tough times. We realize that every day is a gift, and we make the most of it. By living reverently, we can find more joy, fulfillment, and meaning in our lives.

We are all interconnected. Every thought, every action, affects everyone and everything around us. When we act with reverence, we act with an awareness of this interconnection. We realize that our actions have an impact on the world around us, and we take care not to harm anything or anyone. Instead, we seek to help and heal. We act with reverence because we know that everything is connected, and that what we do matters.
