We Lack Nothing

In this week’s Contemplative Living Livestream, We look at how we can understand that we lack nothing.

I need this. I don’t need that. We believe this viscerally as the truth of who we are. We Lack Nothing. Metta, or lovingkindness, is first practiced toward oneself since we often have difficulty loving others without first loving ourselves. When we do things primarily for gain and loss, we attach to gaining and losing. We limit who we are. Manifest the wisdom and compassionate activity that is who you are. You must be the person that you are. You lack nothing of the wisdom and perfection of the Divine. Trust in yourself. Trust in who you are. We are who we are.

But I Need This

We often think that we need more in our lives when, in reality, we already have everything we need spiritually. We may think we need more money, more possessions, or more success, but these things will not bring us lasting happiness. What we really need is a deeper connection to the Divine. When we turn to the Divine and ask for help, we open ourselves up to limitless possibilities. It can help us find true happiness and peace in our lives. The Divine can give us the strength to overcome any obstacle. It can provide us with guidance and wisdom. And it can fill us with love.

When we realize that our connection to the Divine is all we really need, we can start living our lives to the fullest. We can let go of our fears and doubts. We can pursue our dreams with confidence. We can face each day with hope and joy. Because when we have divine love in our lives, we lack nothing spiritually.

Trust In Yourself

If we lack nothing spiritually, then why do we so often feel lost, confused, and alone? The answer lies in our spiritual connection. Or rather, our lack thereof. Our spiritual connection is what allows us to trust in ourselves. It is our lifeline to the Divine. When we are disconnected from our spirituality, we are disconnected from our true selves. We no longer know who we are or what we are supposed to be doing with our lives. We feel lost because we are lost. But when we reconnect with our spirituality, everything falls into place.

We remember who we are and why we’re here. We remember our purpose. The first step to reconnecting with your spirituality is to trust in yourself. You must believe that you are worthy of a connection to the Divine. You must believe that you have something to offer the world. If you can’t believe these things about yourself, it will be impossible to open yourself up to a higher power. But if you can trust in yourself, everything else will fall into place.
