We often think that we need more in our lives when, in reality, we already have everything we need spiritually. We may think we need more money, more possessions, or more success, but these things will not bring us lasting happiness. What we really need is a deeper connection to the Divine.
Let’s build our attention span. Our mind is dense with thoughts and emotions, but when focused, it narrows, gets sharper and is more precise. We need Clarity. We have no control over what confronts us when we step out our door, except our Clarity of Mind.
Beginning meditation is a tender space of hope and discovery. Meditation helps create some space between yourself and thoughts. We begin by having an attitude of openness, eagerness, and lack of preconceptions.
